I’m very stoked to learn I’ve been nominated for a Leo Award this year, for “Best Musical Score in a Documentary Program or Series” for a documentary I did for the National Film Board of Canada called ‘Rock The Box’. I did all the audio for this – BGs, Foley, dialogue cleanup, sound design, music edit and music composition – everything except for the mix. I wasn’t aware the film had been submitted, but I’m very thankful to the National Film Board, particularly Jennifer Roworth and Shirley Verceuse for the opportunity. It was great also to work with director Katherine Monk on this little snapshot into the world of DJ Rhiannon.
