Thanks for visiting my website. I’ve been working in the entertainment industry my whole career, and every day feel very fortunate to be earning a living doing what I love: creating sounds and making music.

I often get asked how I got started in the world of audio. I realised after my music degree (or perhaps during it!) that the life of a musician wasn’t for me. After a few years DJing in clubs such as the Hacienda in Manchester and Nation in Liverpool, my sonic obsessions led to me to study Audio Engineering at the School of Audio Engineering in London. I had found my niche!

I worked my way up from Assistant Engineer to Chief Recording and Mixing Engineer, and ran sessions in some of the UKs best studios, working with plenty of amazing musicians and producers, and getting several UK chart placements.

I moved to Vancouver in 2002 where I was able to expand my engineering skills to production and song writing. I have been lucky enough to work with some extremely talented, (if somewhat underrated and undiscovered!) Canadian artists. I’ve notched up nearly 100 songs (many are co-writes with some amazing collaborators), and have produced and mixed many more.

A couple of years into my Canadian adventure, I landed several contracts for some large video game publishers, which opened the door to me entering that industry on a more full-time basis as a sound designer. I was also offered some work for film and TV, as a dialogue editor, sound designer and music composer.

All these opportunities have enabled me to establish a well-rounded portfolio of work, with my music credits reflecting my eclectic tastes, and my film and games work covering dialogue, sound effects and music.

Put any project my way, and I’ll roll my sleeves up and work to produce the highest quality audio experience possible, always keeping the vision of the project in mind.
